Otley Road (A65) is the main road through the centre of Guiseley running from Leeds and then on to Menston and Ilkley. It is also called in parts Leeds Road, New Road and Menston Road so may be marked in various ways on different old photos.
This was not historically the heart of Guiseley which in times gone by was centred around Town Gate, however now this is where all the main shops and businessed are located.
We start towards Leeds and then travel down the Main Street towards White Cross.
